As a contract SLP, you will provide essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload, working onsite near Cypress, TX. Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
- Experience in school settings and/or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Comfortable supervising assistants or Clinical Fellows if you hold your CCCs
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-age students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, typically at one school but occasionally between two locations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) catering to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support best outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Supervise and mentor CFs or assistants if required
