Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication growth as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary, middle, and high school populations. This engaging opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing vital services onsite Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours weekly.
Collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to foster each student's individual success. You’ll assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based supports that help learners thrive in the classroom. As an onsite-only position, your impact will be hands-on—delivering direct services and shaping positive change face-to-face.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must hold an active NC SLP license; out-of-state candidates will be considered if eligible to obtain NC licensure by summer
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings across various grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school preferred)
- Comfortable providing all services onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Consult with teachers, families, and specialists to maximize student outcomes
