Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active NC Speech-Language Pathologist license (out-of-state candidates considered with the ability to obtain NC licensure by June or July)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings highly desirable
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload across different age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Familiarity with virtual service (voco SLP) models preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Openness to travel or relocation as necessary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of students
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress
- Adapt services to virtual or onsite models as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and school policies
