Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially within a school system, is a strong plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student IEP goals
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a supportive, culturally responsive learning environment, advocating for effective communication in the classroom
