Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification for the state of Mississippi
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Prior experience working in school settings welcomed
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services according to district guidelines
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required for compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and emotional development
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators about student progress and recommended interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
