Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Burlington, Vermont
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a maternity leave coverage from April 22, 2026, to June 15, 2026, in Burlington, VT. This role involves providing onsite speech and language services to elementary school students, supporting their communication and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of student progress and services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school or pediatric healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
