Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sonoma, California
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive educational setting near Sonoma, CA. This onsite, full-time position spans the entire 2026-2027 school year and offers the chance to positively impact students across multiple campuses.
You’ll have the choice between two dynamic roles designed to match your expertise and interests. One position focuses on a middle school caseload, providing support to students in a variety of classroom settings—including two mild/moderate Special Day Classes, an extensive support needs class, as well as RSP and general education students. The other role covers two elementary schools: one with a mix of general education and extensive support needs (grades TK-5), and another mostly serving students in general education placements.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- PPS Credential (California Pupil Personnel Services)
- Experience or training working in school settings
- Background in pediatric therapy or special education preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding CCCs
- Applicants with SLPA and healthcare-based SLP experience are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech, language, and communication services onsite
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to foster student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
