School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, California

Ideal Experience & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individual and group, in collaboration with school staff and families
- Maintain clear and timely records of assessments, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and ongoing professional development
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, providing support and guidance as needed
