Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Valid and active SLP license in California or willingness to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in school-based settings, working with K-12 populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Strong clinical skills for speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions
- Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct speech and language services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and provide professional recommendations
- Offer consultative support and resources to promote carryover of skills within the classroom environment
