Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California (SLP-CCC required)
- Prior experience serving elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong commitment to fostering communication skills and social development
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in-person
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language needs using evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team and families
- Consult and work closely with teachers and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements
