You’ll supervise an SLPA while providing direct services to a caseload of 20 students during the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland SLP license
- Maryland teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Skilled in supervising support staff and collaborating with educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to an SLPA
- Complete assessments, evaluations, and progress reports efficiently
- Coordinate and consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Support compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing case management as needed
- Provide services onsite or in a hybrid model (required for effective supervision)
The contract begins on August 17th, 2026, and runs through June 14th, 2027, with a part-time schedule of 20–25 hours weekly.
