Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Maryland state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write evaluations, and interpret results for eligibility and progress
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address diverse communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative intervention planning
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff related to speech/language strategies
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with school policies
