Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Hold an active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Obtain (or be eligible for) Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, with an eagerness to partner with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy tailored to each student’s unique requirements
- Work closely with teachers, families, and the IEP team to promote student success and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
