Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Aberdeen, MD
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the 26/27 school year in a collaborative educational environment. Two Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide vital support to a caseload of approximately 55 students onsite. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-age caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable working onsite for the full school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Deliver services consistent with established caseload and school policies
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and records
