Make a difference supporting children at a critical stage of development as a Speech-Language Pathologist focused on early intervention and preschool-aged students. Multiple full-time contract positions are available for enthusiastic SLPs interested in working with birth-3 year olds or 3-5 year olds during the 2026-2027 school year. These opportunities span various locations in Salem, South Marion, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties.

Successful candidates will be placed in settings tailored to age groups:

  • Birth-3 Year Olds: July 6, 2026 – June 11, 2027, 190-day contract
  • 3-5 Year Olds: August 21, 2026 – June 9, 2027, 190-day contract

Preferred qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous school-based or early intervention experience greatly valued
• Solid communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Compassion for diverse learner needs and families
• Ability to travel within assigned counties as needed

Position responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations, create individual treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement age-appropriate interventions
• Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Advocate for students’ needs, ensuring the highest quality of speech and language support
