Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active State of Illinois Speech Language Pathologist licensure (IDFPR)
- ISBE Professional Educator License
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school-based or healthcare settings
- Familiarity or interest in working with self-contained autism programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess communication disorders and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services to meet students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input into student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress monitoring
