School Speech Language Pathologist - La Fayette, Georgia

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Georgia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Comfort and skill with AAC devices and children with ASD
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in PreK through 5th grade
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations and assistive communication strategies, especially for students using AAC
- Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development and implementation
