Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting working with PreK–5th grade students preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices or willingness to learn highly encouraged
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Support students with ASD, tailoring approaches for AAC device users
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and required compliance reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input for service planning
This position begins August 12, 2026 and continues through May 20, 2027. You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with caseload size and specifics to be determined. Compensation for this contract role ranges from $48–$53 per hour, with weekly pay for convenience and financial flexibility.
