Qualifications & Preferred Background
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is required (will consider strong Clinical Fellows—CFY candidates)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language services, particularly with early childhood populations
- SLP-CCC highly desired, but not required
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evaluations, therapy, and intervention for students with communication disorders, primarily in a daycare setting
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals and school policies
- Consult with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive student support
- Monitor and track student progress; adapt interventions as needed
- Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech services
