Two dedicated professionals are sought to support students at Sea Breeze and Abel Elementary Schools, focusing on preschool and early intervention programs. Candidates will collaborate with staff to deliver comprehensive speech and language services in inclusive and specialized settings.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (Master’s preferred; consideration given to strong Bachelor’s-level applicants and Clinical Fellows)
- Prior school-based SLP experience is advantageous
- Ability to work on-site within school settings (remote or virtual work is not available)
- Commitment to serving preschool-aged children, including those with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Strong communication, organization, and team-collaboration skills
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in ESE, intensive ESE, ASD, and integrated preschool (PK) classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create tailored treatment plans and support student success
- Conduct assessments, maintain timely records, and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve up to two schools—Sea Breeze Elementary (varied PK caseloads including ESE and ASD units) and Abel Elementary (ESE PK, integrated PK, and ASD units)
- Actively participate in school-based meetings and interdisciplinary teams
