Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for a role based near Sarasota at elementary campuses. Assignments begin as soon as possible and continue through May 29, 2026, offering the chance to make a measurable impact across varied special education (ESE) settings.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services in PreK to elementary classrooms, including ESE, intensive ESE, ASD units, and integrated programs. Your skills and expertise will help young learners overcome challenges and achieve their full communication potential in collaboration with dedicated educators and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP License required (Master’s level preferred, but Bachelor’s considered)
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY); SLPAs are not eligible for this assignment
- Experience in school-based pediatric settings or strong interest in working with children ages 3-11
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel on-site to Bradenton campuses
- Commitment to the academic year through May 29, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services for assigned caseloads at Sea Breeze and Abel Elementary
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Promote positive outcomes within a supportive school community
