You’ll serve either Sea Breeze or Abel Elementary, each with unique caseloads focused on pre-kindergarten and specialized units, including ESE PK, intensive ESE PK, and ASD units. Enjoy a full-time schedule immersing yourself in a collaborative and engaging environment, backed by supportive education professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Florida SLP License (Master’s preferred; will consider Bachelor’s with strong experience)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with an active FL SLP License (Master’s only)
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool and ASD populations
- Ability to provide comprehensive therapy and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a student-focused approach
- Commitment to on-site presence at assigned schools (remote/virtual not available)
- SLPAs are not being considered for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech-language disorders across preschool and integrated classrooms
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and easily communicate progress to staff and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Proactively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
