School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sedro Woolley, Washington
Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. In this contract role, you’ll serve a .4 FTE, providing expert support and interventions within a supportive school-based setting located near Sedro Woolley, WA. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for enhancing communication skills in children will be invaluable in guiding students toward meaningful progress and educational success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language and communication assessments for students as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to address students’ speech, language, and communication needs (.4 FTE)
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Consult with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team efforts
