Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
  • Consult with educators, families, and support staff to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the educational planning process, and help facilitate the generalization of skills into the classroom
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development
