Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and SLP-CCC required
- Previous experience working with high-needs populations (ASD, cognitive, and physical disabilities)
- Skilled in using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Comfort working with K-21 age range
- Prior school-based experience highly desirable
- Ability to work onsite throughout the contract
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to a caseload of 20-25 students with significant needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans
- Collaborate with special education teams and other providers
- Support communication through AAC device training and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Actively engage families and caregivers to support generalization of skills
