Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pending completion of CFY requirements
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and adolescent populations in educational settings
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with compassion and strong organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with educators, families, and other specialists
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students ages preschool through post-secondary
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring measurable progress
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create detailed reports, and help guide intervention planning
- Work alongside multidisciplinary school teams to support student achievement
- Engage with families and staff to enhance communication strategies and educational outcomes
- Document services provided in compliance with school and professional standards
