Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to make a substantial impact in educational settings near Seattle, WA. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active WA SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
- Completion of background check and fingerprinting through OSPI
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in school settings, especially with elementary or high school students, is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with educational teams and families
- Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and implement individualized therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring goals are met according to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy logs and comply with all state and district documentation requirements
- Offer guidance and in-class support to faculty regarding communication strategies
- Remain current on best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
