Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Washington SLP license and ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, including elementary and high school populations
- Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to working in-person and contributing to a supportive school culture
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate progress to families and staff
- Foster an inclusive environment and advocate for students’ needs within the school community
- Collaborate with teachers, other specialists, and administration to ensure student success
