School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Gig Harbor, Washington

We are seeking three dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract placements—two full-time positions and one part-time—serving both elementary and high school students. Positions are based in-person and begin as soon as possible, continuing through June 17, 2027.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate)
- SLP-CCC credential required
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Fingerprinting through OSPI is mandatory
- Ability to excel in team settings, collaborating with educators and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Adaptable to the needs of students across various age groups and settings
What you’ll do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary or high school students (placement based on preference/fit)
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, student progress monitoring, and consultations
- Provide support and advocacy for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
