A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Scranton, PA, offering an excellent opportunity to support students across the region. This contract role will begin ASAP and conclude on August 7, 2026, with the possibility of part-time consideration for qualified candidates. The position involves working onsite within school settings, primarily covering maternity leaves in Lackawanna County, followed by supporting itinerant students in the Dunmore area during the spring semester.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals. The role demands strong experience in school-based speech-language pathology and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently while addressing diverse student needs.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure
- Proven school-based experience working with a range of student populations
- Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite attendance
- Comfortable with Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process
This role does not include voice therapy services (VOCO).
