Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure for Arizona or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Pediatric experience, especially within school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and organizational talents
- Bilingual abilities a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse school-aged population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
- Deliver both in-person and virtual therapy services as needed
- Consult and provide resources to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and student evaluations
