Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current and valid Texas SLP license (required)
- CCC-SLP preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language services
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working alongside educational staff and families
- Ability to adapt communication style to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering individualized and small group therapy to meet IEP goals
- Conducting screenings, formal assessments, and progress monitoring
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals on intervention strategies
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input for student plans
- Maintaining documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Providing consultative support and resources to staff and families
