Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in San Antonio, TX

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting children’s communication development. This part-time, contract position is for the 2026-2027 school year and offers 20 hours per week, ideally serving students at the elementary level.
Applicants must hold a current Texas SLP license. Experience or relevant skills in school-based therapy, pediatric caseloads, and working with children at varying levels of need will be highly valued. Both CCC and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply, with a focus on those dedicated to fostering positive and inclusive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience with pediatric populations and school settings preferred
- Strong familiarity with the needs of elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and services delivered
- Consult with classroom teachers and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
