You’ll play a pivotal role by supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 45-50 students, providing essential speech and language services while covering an FMLA leave. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric or school settings, preferably at the high school level
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to high school students, both individually and in groups
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a diverse range of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ needs are met
  • Monitor progress and maintain clear, accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Support FMLA coverage by maintaining continuity of care throughout the semester
