Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in the Bradenton, FL area with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This full-time school-based position covers two locations—Sea Breeze Elementary and Abel Elementary—serving preschool and early childhood Special Education populations. Work collaboratively with dedicated educators and be part of students’ progress throughout the academic year, with assignments running ASAP through May 29, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Florida SLP License (Master's preferred, but bachelor's will be considered for some roles)
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Experience with early childhood/preschool caseloads, including ESE Pre-Kindergarten and Autism Spectrum Disorder units
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with diverse learners in educational settings
- On-site presence required at assigned school(s)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in ESE PK, intensive ESE PK, ASD, and integrated Pre-K classrooms
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to facilitate student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
- Document progress and adapt interventions as necessary to achieve measurable outcomes
