Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status required
- Experience providing speech therapy in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized goals and progress tracking
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with school personnel and families
- Conduct assessments and document treatment outcomes per regulatory and school guidelines
- Support students’ functional communication across educational settings
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, caregivers, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
