Candidates will thrive if they bring:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current California State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC’s), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Commitment to providing 1:1 support in educational settings
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- A passion for fostering learning and growth in school-age children
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students in a school setting
- Crafting and implementing treatment plans that address each student’s unique needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Documenting progress and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining compliance with district protocols and state regulations
