Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Strong commitment to student progress in a school setting
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to support students’ individual needs
- Manage a 1:1 caseload, designing and implementing effective therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports compliant with school and state policies
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialized knowledge to develop appropriate goals
- Stay informed about best practices, continuing education, and current trends in speech therapy
