Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience providing school-based SLP services
- Comfortable delivering services to students across grades K-12
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or administrators
- Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Work closely with educators, families, and specialists to support IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making for each student
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies and interventions when appropriate
