Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a school-based contract opportunity offering the perfect blend of in-person impact and teletherapy flexibility in the Santa Cruz, CA area. This engaging role allows you to support a diverse caseload of roughly 30 students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 2nd grade, as well as some middle schoolers—making every week dynamic and rewarding.

This contract runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with five scheduled holiday weeks to ensure you have time to recharge. You’ll divide your week between two onsite days and two remote teletherapy days, enjoying significant flexibility while making a meaningful difference in students’ communication and academic journeys.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
  • Current CTC credential
  • Experience or interest in school-based, teletherapy, healthcare, or clinical SLP roles
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome
  • Commitment to collaboration and student success

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language services for students ages PreK-2nd grade and some middle schoolers
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver in-person sessions and remote teletherapy interventions
  • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and school teams
  • Maintain timely documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
