Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California speech-language pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience delivering speech/language services in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students requiring speech and language intervention
- Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare periodic progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
- Offer resources and guidance to parents, teachers, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning discussions
