Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech/Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in a vibrant educational setting. Both full-time and part-time positions are open for passionate professionals looking to help students reach their communication goals during the current academic year.
Openings include:
- Three full-time roles (40 hours per week) from November through the end of the school year, supporting various needs across the student population.
- One part-time position (8 hours per week, flexible scheduling) focused on middle school services, with immediate start and commitment at least until December's end.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active and valid California SLP license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Deliver tailored therapy to students in individual and small group settings.
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress and services provided.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and meet required goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observations and recommendations to help each student thrive.
