School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fremont, California
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a positive impact in educational settings. Multiple positions are open: three full-time roles (40 hours per week) running from November through the end of the school year, as well as one part-time role (8 hours per week, with flexible hours, primarily over one month) at a middle school. The part-time position begins immediately and is expected to continue through at least the end of December.
Ideal candidates are passionate, collaborative, and ready to provide crucial services to students in a supportive environment. Those with a current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), required
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset to work with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records per school and regulatory requirements
