School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, California

Full-time roles are available for three energetic Speech/Language Pathologists, with 40-hour weeks extending from November through the end of the school year. Additionally, a flexible, part-time opening (8 hours per week, distributed as needed) is available at a single middle school, starting immediately and continuing through December.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience working in educational environments preferred
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on speech, language, and social communication
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and monitor students’ ongoing development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
