Step into a rewarding, full-time role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 10am to 6pm.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting, working with K-12 populations
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit to partner with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop therapy plans for students presenting with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct speech therapy services tailored to individual student goals
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and evaluations
- Consult, train, and provide support to teachers and parents for classroom carryover and generalization
- Continuously monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Cultivate a positive and growth-oriented therapeutic environment for all students
