School Speech Language Pathologist - San Rafael, California

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding opportunity serving students in a supportive educational environment. This contract position is onsite two days per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year. As an integral member of the student services team, you’ll make a positive difference in children’s lives through your clinical skills and compassion.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally responsive care
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide direct therapy for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings as necessary
- Consult with classroom teachers to develop strategies and accommodations for student success
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
