Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP licensure in good standing
- Minimum of two years' post-licensure experience; compensation is $125/hour for those meeting this criterion
- Experience working within a school setting, ideally at the middle school level
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery (remote not available)
- No SLPA supervision required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students, supporting their communication, social skills, and academic achievement
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Implement evidence-based therapy plans, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including SEIS data entry as preferred
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and school-based initiatives as needed
