Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active speech-language pathology license for California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered
  • Experience delivering therapy in a school-based setting is ideal
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal writing
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, addressing a range of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support students’ academic and social development
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment that helps students reach their highest potential
