Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active speech-language pathology license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered
- Experience delivering therapy in a school-based setting is ideal
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal writing
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEP requirements
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, addressing a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support students’ academic and social development
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment that helps students reach their highest potential
