Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates completing CFY are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of IEP processes
- Familiarity with various communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support plans
- Offer guidance and support to students, families, and educators on communication strategies
