Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in schools strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, individualized education plans (IEPs), and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and a positive, collaborative attitude
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the educational team
- Provide therapeutic interventions individually and in groups
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and communications
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administrators to ensure continuity of care
