Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication, time-management, and documentation skills
- Committed to fostering student growth and collaborating with educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups to meet IEP goals
- Develop and implement intervention strategies aligned with each student’s needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational experiences
- Maintain accurate records, complete progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Educate families and staff on techniques to support communication development
